Where are you located?
East Tennessee Chihuahuas is based in Johnson City, Tennessee, serving the Tri-Cities region and families who can arrange an appropriate placement plan from farther away.
Do you guarantee adult size?
No. Chihuahua puppies can mature differently even within the same litter. We can discuss growth trends and parent size, but we do not guarantee an exact adult weight.
What age do puppies go home?
Go-home timing is individualized. We do not rush a puppy simply because a minimum age has been reached. Very small or slower-maturing puppies may remain longer.
Can I reserve a puppy just by messaging you?
No. A conversation or application alone does not reserve a puppy. Reservation and purchase terms are handled in writing.
Do you ship puppies?
Transportation options are discussed individually. Ground delivery or an in-cabin flight-nanny arrangement may be possible in some cases. The puppy’s readiness always comes first.
Do you sell “teacup” Chihuahuas?
“Teacup” is not a separate Chihuahua breed or medical classification. We may have naturally smaller individuals, but we do not guarantee adult weight.
What health information will I receive?
Puppy-specific care and health records available for the individual puppy are provided as part of the placement paperwork. Parent-specific testing and documentation are listed on parent profiles when available.
Do you offer registration papers?
Registration status can vary by dog and litter. The applicable registry and whether papers are included will be stated on the puppy or litter information and in the written agreement.
Can I choose based only on color?
You may absolutely tell us your preferences, but we encourage families to consider temperament, handling needs, energy level, and lifestyle fit alongside appearance.
Are deposits refundable?
Any deposit or reservation payment is governed by the written agreement presented before payment. Do not rely on general website language in place of the signed terms for a particular transaction.
What happens after I submit an application?
We review the information and may ask follow-up questions. Approval does not guarantee immediate availability or a specific puppy.
